Eligibility Criteria in Detail
Educational Qualifications
Each post carries a specific minimum educational requirement. While Constable and Staff Car Driver roles require Matriculation and Primary level education respectively, the Assistant and Sub-Inspector posts demand a Bachelor's degree from an HEC-recognized university. Stenotypist candidates must additionally demonstrate professional speed in shorthand and typewriting.
Age Relaxation
General age limits across most posts are 18 to 25 years, with the Assistant post extending to 28 years and Staff Car Driver to 30 years. Age relaxation of up to 5 years applies per the Initial Appointment to Civil Posts (Relaxation of Upper Age Limits) Rules 1993. This includes the general age relaxation for all candidates.
