FBR Jobs 2025 – Sub-Inspector (BPS-14) Vacancies in Customs Department
The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), Government of Pakistan, has announced the latest government jobs for the post of Sub-Inspector (Equivalent to JCO) in BPS-14 under three Customs field formations: Collectorate of Customs Enforcement Quetta, Collectorate of Customs Enforcement Gaddani, and Collectorate of Customs Indus. A total of 148 vacancies are available for Pakistani nationals on a contract basis for two years.
The positions are open to eligible candidates across Pakistan, including provincial and minority quotas, and special quotas for women. All interested applicants must apply online through the National Jobs Portal (https://www.njp.gov.pk) before the deadline of 25 July 2025.

🎓 Eligibility Criteria
- Second class or Grade “C” Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Commerce, Statistics, Accounting, Computer Science, Law, Pharmacy, Chemistry, Physics, or Engineering
- Age Limit: 18–30 years (including 5 years general relaxation)
- Physical Standards:
- Male: Height 5’-6”, Chest 32”-33.5”
- Female: Height 5’-2”
- Retired JCOs of Armed Forces may also apply under Section 226 of the Customs Act, 1969.
📄 General Instructions
- Apply online at www.njp.gov.pk. Manual applications will not be accepted.
- Applicants can only apply for one post per collectorate.
- Appointments are contract-based for two years (extendable).
- Age relaxation:
- 3 years for candidates from Scheduled Castes, AJK, GB, and Tribal Areas
- 15 years for retired army personnel (or actual years of service)
- 5 years for widows or children of deceased civil servants
- Only shortlisted candidates will be called for tests/interviews.
- No TA/DA is admissible for the test/interview.
