Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) has announced fresh job openings and invites online applications from eligible candidates against various posts on a regular and contract basis. Vacancies are available at the AIOU Main Campus, Islamabad, as well as Regional Centers in Punjab, Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Baluchistan, and Gilgit Baltistan. 📌 Important Instructions

1. Candidates selected against their provincial quota can be posted to any AIOU Regional Center in that province.
2. Eligibility will be determined as per AIOU Services Statutes 1978 (amended up to 27th April 2026) and applicable Govt. rules.
3. Maximum age limit relaxation applies as per the Relaxation of Upper Age Limit Rules, 1993 (amended up to 27th April 2026).
4. Applicants must apply online through the AIOU Job Portal at www.aiou.edu.pk. Original fee challan must be presented at the time of test/interview.
5. Applications must be submitted ONLINE only — hard copies will not be accepted. Original certificates must be brought for verification at the test/interview stage.
6. Government/Semi-Government/Autonomous Body employees (including AIOU) must apply through proper channel with NOC & service certificate(s) by the due date, or the application will be rejected.
7. Information provided in the online application will be treated as final; subsequent claims of experience or qualifications will not be accepted.
8. AIOU reserves the right to increase/decrease the number of posts, or withhold/reject any appointment without assigning any reason.
9. Applicants must provide documentary evidence for all claims; failure may result in disqualification.
10. A valid, non-MNP cell number and postal address are required for SMS/TCS courier delivery. AIOU is not responsible for delivery delays.
11. Quota will be observed as per Government instructions/approved AIOU statutory bodies.
12. The University reserves the right to appoint on a regular or contract basis as per requirement.
