Eligibility Criteria & Age Limits
Candidates must be Pakistani nationals (male or female) meeting the qualification and age criteria specified for the post they are applying against. The cut-off date for age calculation is 08 July 2026, the closing date of this advertisement.
Age Relaxation for 2024 Recruitment Candidates
As per the directions of the Hon'ble Islamabad High Court (W.P. No. 2242/2024, order dated 16.03.2026), candidates who had already qualified for the interview stage in the ICT Police Recruitment Process – 2024 are granted relaxed upper age limits (29 years 11 months 7 days for BS-15/BS-14 posts; 26 years 11 months 7 days for BS-14/BS-13/BS-11 posts). However, these candidates must still undergo all recruitment tests/stages afresh.
Additional Age Relaxation
A general upper age relaxation of 5 years is applicable as per Federal Government policy. Government employees who meet the eligibility criteria may apply through proper channel and will be granted age relaxation as per rules.
Transgender & Family Claim Applicants
Transgender persons may apply as per their self-perceived gender identity in accordance with the Transgender Persons (Protection of Rights) Act, 2018, and the gender mentioned on their CNIC. Candidates applying under a family claim (as real son/grandson or real daughter/granddaughter of a serving, retired, or deceased police employee) must provide complete supporting documentation — Family Registration Certificate (FRC), pension book, retirement order, etc. — at the interview stage.

If applying for more than one post, a separate fee must be paid for each post.
General Instructions & Terms
- Apply only online within 15 days of publication of this advertisement.
- Provision of false information is punishable under Section 420/468/471 PPC (forgery/fraud/cheating) with imprisonment up to seven years.
- False undertakings regarding criminal involvement will lead to cancellation of application and a future ban on applying for police posts.
